Although the new congressional district maps passed by the Texas state legislature in this year’s 89th legislative session are still in court, it’s important to understand how you will be affected. Most voters in Brazoria County are now in a new US Congressional district. The new maps have not affected State House or State Senate districts. Some voters will be shifted into new voting precincts. New voter registration cards will be generated by the County Elections office in December or January. Above is a listing of which precincts reside in each congressional district.
