Primary Elections

Now that the municipal elections are over, we have the party runoffs for the November 2026 election. You will only be able to vote in the party runoff that you voted in the March 2026 primary, but you can still vote in the runoff if you did not vote in the March primary. Early Voting will be held from Monday, May 18th to Friday, May 22nd. There is NO WEEKEND VOTE! Early voting hours are 7am-7pm and you can vote at any polling location in the county! Election Day is TUESDAY MAY 26th! Key dates are below.

The following offices have a runoff for the Democratic Party nomination:

Municipal Elections

Local elections for school boards, city councils, and mayors for your city have come and gone, as Election Day was on Saturday, May 2! Local elections decide who controls your neighborhood, your schools, and your future. Change begins at home — every single vote makes a difference. Thank you so much to all of the candidates and volunteers that made this election happen, and thanks to everyone who got out to the polls and voted!

These municipal races are bipartisan, but the Brazoria County Democratic Party had the following recommendations for some of the local races.
