Born in Texas, Juneteenth marks the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in our state. We honor that history and continue the work toward justice and equality. Some of our members attended, registered voters, and handed out fruit at the Angleton Juneteenth Parade and Celebration on Friday, June 18th!
