BCDP HQ Grand Opening
Our Brazoria County Democratic Party Headquarters has been established, and on Saturday, August 30th, we held a delightful grand opening event! Thank you for all of the beautiful, smiling, friendly faces that joined us at the event, including honored guests Congressman Al Green (District 9) and State Representative Ron Reynolds (District 27). New Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars
Thank you to the Brazoria County Voter Initiative for hosting a VDR training event in our new headquarters on Wednesday, August 20th! Despite the rain, we have 28 new and renewed VDRs in Brazoria County, and they are ready to register voters!

SBCD Reads “On Tyranny” Together!
Some of our members met at Hardin Creek on Wednesday to read the first half of Timothy Snyder’s “On Tyranny” and enjoy each other’s company. Join us for the second half next Wednesday, July 9! Historians Kristin Du Mez and Bruce Berglund will also have a live discussion on Thursday, July 10, 7pm CT/8pm ET.
SBCD at the Blue Texas BC Organizing Rally
If you want to get involved, sign up with this interest form or for their regular virtual phone banks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm. Blue Texas also has two upcoming BC Candidate Recruitment events, one in Pearland, and one in Lake Jackson. Hope to see you there!
