Ashleigh Lawrence to serve as the Executive Director of the BCDP

We are excited to announce the appointment of Ashleigh Lawrence to serve as the Executive Director of the Brazoria County Democratic Party. Ashleigh’s new role will include a concentrated effort on growing our volunteer base, developing a diverse candidate pool, supporting our precinct chairs, and strengthening our visibility in the community. With several years of advocacy under her belt, Ashleigh has worked closely with local and statewide organizations including Brazoria County Pride, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, and Mothers Against Greg Abbott. Ashleigh currently serves as the Vice President of the South Brazoria County Democrats Club as well as the Chair for Precinct 23 in the heart of Lake Jackson, (and she even edits our weekly newsletter)! Always ready to ask, “How can I help?”, Ashleigh consistently steps up to accomplish the hard work that strengthens our coalitions and raises the sound of our collective voices. We are eager to see what she can bring to the table in this new, full-time position for our county party. This is a healthy sign of growth and energy for Democrats in Brazoria County, so please join us in congratulating Ashleigh Lawrence – our very first Executive Director!
